Seen 3 doe and 2 small 1.5 year old bucks so far along with 9 raccoons. No shooters or hot chicks on horseback. Hoping my luck changes soon!

I have called it a morning. Nothing after those few really early and I didn't expect it to be so cold but I'll be back at it this afternoon!

    MOURNING OF DAY 2 SUCKS..
got to stand this mouring had all the equipment I forgot yesterday. It rained all mouring till about 8. Around 8:10 a nice doe came out and she stoped at 30 yrds easy shot right. Well i let her have it. well as it turned out the arrow was fluttering in the air and i noticed it skimmed her brisket. I didnt know why I had everything I needed and well when i take the bow down and take a look there is a small twig that is moving up and down..... YES i hit that twig dead center and it made my arrow drop about 6 inches. so my mourning ends with white fur on the ground no blood and a broken heart

Just had a encounter with two monster mule deer. Got to within 60 of the smaller one (a big 5x4). Saw the monster 6x5 run across a field at 80 but couldn't get close to either for a shot. Sure got the heart pumping. I'm going to have to find more time to come out and hunt. These deer were massive

    PLEASE be safe!

About 8:10 this morning I heard sirens stop over by the public land that is close to the farm I hunt. About 20min later I hear a helicopter coming & its life-flight.

I get down & drive over, the helicopter was gone but I talked to the CO. He told me a hunter fell out of his stand that was @ 14'.

This happened in Lowden Miller state park. I don't know his condition but I'm sure he could use our prayers!

Be safe a deer is not worth taking a chance on your life!

Not sure how well this will work. Going to try to stream live from he iPhone can someone tell me if it actually works and whether the feed is worth trying non 3G now but may not work on Edge when I get in stand.

Been in the stand for about an hour now. I'm sitting over a bean field again, and the camera is rolling over shoulder, hopefully I can get lucky and get some kill footage on it.
