Second sit of the season. Finally in a stand with a signal. Steady winds supposed to increase with a full moon, not sure how activity will be but beats the heck out of sitting at home.

Yawn!!!! Sitting high up in a tree in LaSalle county Illinois!! Windy, windy, windy! Got the camera set up and of course I forgot to charge the battery last night, so I have 12 minutes of record time. Gonna have to make it count!!

Just had 2 doe with 3 fawn move into acorns where the little spike was. Was focused on them when I heard leaves rustle. Had a doe and fawn broadside at 20yds. She must have caught movement, turned back the way she came.

Turkey, 6 total have closes half the distance. Dang hints are taking their time

    I'm done getting poured on!!!
Got out of the treestand at 9:45. As I was 20 yards from my truck the sun burst through and we had a sun shower then it stopped raining. I'm in the truck and now it's starting to cloud up again. F it I'm going home. 4 days of straight rain is enough until tomorrow. It's SUPPOSED to be sunny and breezy.

    Update: 10:00 it's raining AGAIN!!!!

Went out this morning and sat until 10:30 am. It was 45 degrees at daybreak but didn't have any movement until about 10:00. I had a big 10 at 60 yards but he never got any closer, by far the biggest buck I have seen in this stand. I am going to set up pretty soon for the evening and hope to catch him coming back through. Wish me luck, guys.

Hunted hard today but no sign of the big boy again. I am thinking about moving one of my stands tomorrow. I sure hope to get a shot at him.

Hunted for 4 hours this morning.. Nothin.. been in the stand for 1 hour 45 minutes so far and all I've seen is 2 squirrels.. I'm still confident, it's getting closer and closer to prime-time and I'm pumped! I hope they don't smell me, I'm covered in scent away but it's still 90 degrees and I'm sweating.. :/

OMG, it's not raining! I don't know how to act. I don't have to huncker down.
Big bright full moon, no wind yet but that's supposed to change later, not a cloud in the sky, about 48 degrees.

Update: 10:00 no deer seen, wind is really starting to pick up now. Weather report said gusts up to 30 mph later. Gonna get down now, scout a little, get brunch, go to another property this afternoon.
