Back up, nothing for me this morning. My moms on another ridge close by and 5 does came in at 8:30 but no shot. I'm now on the beginning of a finger that extends between two cut corn fields. Hope the does come back this way tonight. Wish I could hunt acorns but there are so many on our property it's like a deer buffet.

In the blind tonight, been pooring almost all day. I would much rather be in a treestand, but feel safer in a blind. Third sit of the year, hoping for atleast my first deer sighting of tbe year.

Just had four does run out of the corn about sixty yards in front of me...thinking a coyote probably got them up and moving.

Had three doe and a yearling come by at 25 yards. Yearling spooked at something beside her and scared herself an they all ran 50 yards down wind. Then they busted me. Awesome

My phone was acting up today, so I couldn't post live, but I started my season off pretty well this morning. 6 pt. 85lbs.

2 bucks came in at 8:30, he was the bigger of the two, so I let one fly at 10 yards. He went about 20 feet and fell over about 15 yards from my stand. Couldn't have asked for a better position.

The woods pic turned out pretty bad.

In the stand again this morning. Seen a couple before shooting light. Really slow day so far.

Edit: dropped phone out of my stand while typing this. Lol.

How do I upload pics from an iPhone?

I'm going to try a live broadcast tonight on my Ustream Channel.

    http://www.ustream.tv/channel/northwoods-fitz

If you watch, let me know how the video is. I've never tried this before.

I'm hoping to be up and running by 5pm.

Here in the Sycamore stand for the first time this year. This is my best stand based on pictures and I'm feeling good about tonight which usually means nothing lol But we will see how things play out.
