62 here, and about 40 mph winds. Why am I even up?

I've just discovered im extremely close to a logging road/trail. Only hunted this area once before. I just had two guys jog by me about 60 yards out - just out for a run I guess?? Gotta love public land. On the upside, plenty of doe sign here. Meat or antlers, I don't care what comes by :)

Wind advisory tomorrow, so won't be going out. Going to start gusting early.

Worst vacation I've ever taken. Glad I got one down last weekend

Just had a red fox come in, thought it was a small coyote at first. Let down when I realized it and took it's picture

I'll be out all day monday, 7-10mph winds and hopefully enough clouds tomorrow night to negate the moonlight. One reason I know it will be good I'd it's last day of vacation, going to torment me with movement out of range all day. Even in the rain I'll be out

Final day of vacation and last sit before firearm season. Winds are calm, woods are quiet, didn't spook anything on the way in and the winds are calm!

    Hoping for a good day

Hey y'all.. My first "live from the stand" post.but anyways, it's just gettin daylight and about 66 (the high today is 77--im so ready for it to stau cold!!) w/a 4 mph wind that's supposed to pick up to around 15 before too long. I just hope it's nothin like yesterday, I think I was facin the ground more than I was anything with the way my tree kept swayin!

14 minutes until legal shooting time. Just had an unknown deer come crashing through the woods, no grunts or anything. Think it's still right inside the edge.

4 deer so far, yet to see a doe. 2 buttons and 2 spikes. Turkey were going wild for an hour.

    Not my cigarette butt

Got in the stand 30 min before daylight, sitting in a stand my future brother-in-law hung... And it's on a tree that's leaning forward(a lot), bow hanger is on the wrong side, the stand creaks every time you move and there is barely any shooting lanes! Should've hung the damn thing myself, he sucks! Haven't seen anything yet, but temps seem to be good and the wind is perfect, stay tuned!

Nothing here. Using 12ga today. The string walked off the top pulley of my bow the other day. Still gotta get it fixed. Thats alright, firearms only lasts two weeks. Got a gun tag to fill now.

Made a planned stand switch. Winds shifting from east to west southwest. Still just the 4 seen. It's just nice to have light winds again
