    Definitely not leaving stand today.

About 9:20 I did somemoight rattling with the rattle bag. About 6 mintues later a deer comes around the corner from the northeast. It's a big doe, and I decide if she gets in range I'll take a shot. Then she looks back, 2 more does come out. I'm just elated to see deer at this point. Then I catch movement from my left, northwest, and see antlers. It was either a big 6 or a decent 8 but I'm not super picky. He turned his attention to the does and trotted towards them. Stopped just after my lane. He chased them around for a few minutes then thrashed a few trees. I had his attention a few times, but he wasn't having it.

I'm nit sure if my rattling brought him in or he was cruising, but I'm pretty sure he wasnt trailing the does before. They came from opposite directions and it's nasty thick between them.

Was a much needed boost in my day though

Just had 2 more does come around the trail as the previous 3, could have been the same ones. Lost them in the thicker cover, hopefully they bedded down.

Wind was shifting too much, moved stands and sure enough, coyote standing out in the open area I sat the day I seen the turkey. I can't win, did get to watch what I tried to record on the buck chasing the does earlier. Despite the cam corded is attached to my bow and I couldn't see the viewer I actually captured a lot of it. I'll try to upload when I get home tonight

With the coyote at the other stand site and lack of reception I moved back to the original stand.

Thought I was going to get a doe. Had a doe and fawn come from the same place as the previous ones. Confirms that they are bedding there. Started recording incase they presented a shot. They got into range but never had a clear shot. As they were heading off I heard movement where they just were and switched the camera over, ended up being a tree rat. But it's early afternoon activity, been dead since 10:30

Activity is picking up, just passed a doe fawn at 8 yds. She was hanging around eating acorns. If she has more meat would have taken her, instead I shot her with the camera. Still early

About 4:35 had a doe full throttle out of the bedding area. Didn't see anything after her, 15 minutes later a 6-7" spike comes strolling along. Messed with him a bit but he was a little too inquisitive. Let him move on, his eyes were too good

Got in stand around 2:45. Nothing here yet. Buddy saw small spike and small basket 7 pushing a couple of very uninterested doe. Another 55 minutes or do left. Hopefully stuff heats up around here soon.

Almost got busted while setting up. Igor my climber up the tree and was hanging my pack when I saw it. Had a stare down with for about ten minutes. It's been about 20 minutes and I don't know where it is.

Round 2. Haven't heard a single coyote this morning. Woods are still as can be, just hope I didn't choose the wrong stand.

Just had a buck at 20 yds. Was still to dark to tell how big. I could tell he was big enough to shoot though. By the time i realized that he was on his way out.
