    Tried to post this from the stand, but couldn't get enough signal to upload the picture. Didn't see any deer tonight, but did have this guy walk right under my stand. This is the second bobcat of the year so far.

    It's 65 and 20 mph wind this morning. Just had a deer (too dark) 20 yards to me right make its way through the timber. 10 minutes later about 6 deer came out of the field through the timber about 50 yards away. Sounded like a dozer driving through here......not so sure it wasn't. They got about 150 yards to another clearing and I heard 2 of them blow and they all scattered.

    Supposed to be 90 today and sunny so I'll give it till 10 and I'm going home to watch some football.

    perfect weather in Il. just killed a squirrel and now its time for a deer. that tree rat barked at me for 30mins straight. so now I get squirrel stew. yummmmmmmmmm.

    1:30, I'm in the treestand. I found some new rubs and scrapes. I think I'm in a really good tree, time will tell. I don't know if it is used in the AM or PM. [​IMG]

    Well...took lil man out tonight in the ground blind. 3rd hunt of the year for him...started pouring here in Illinois but we were dry. Poor kid started coughing and then fell asleep...needless to say he must have caught something at school today cuz we left early and he's goin to the doc in the morning! Oh well...gonna try in the morning before I have to leave to take him to the doc. Good luck everyone!
