I see mountains..

 

ok got some popcorn but for some reason this movie hasn't started? thought there was supposed to be some killing going on?

 

Season doesn't open till Sunday ladies. Just passed through Pueblo. Headed to Gunnison tonight then up to camp early in the AM. The balance of tomorrow will be scouting. Sunday bows will be in hand.

 

Gunnison is a nice place. Check out traders rendevous, they have a lot of antlers and some cool mounts.

 

I've been there. Not gonna be playin much there. Catchin 40 winks, up early and off to camp. We got **** to do....

Ah... The mountain air baby!

 

Well I thought I was excited to leave in a few days but now Im going insane with anticipation.....thanks

Just hit the hotel. Nap and shower then we head up to camp. Saw a lot of Muleys the last few miles into Gunnison tonight.

 

Last time I was out there I was in the Collegiate Peaks Wilderness area. I do miss that mountain air.

 

I just got back from the mountain. Heard one wimpy bugle, might have been another hunter. John saw a group of bulls still together. They should be breaking up any day now.

I will also add that I hiked all the way back up to the truck. All killer up Hill, in the dark, and then tripped over a rock and fell down fifteen yards from the truck. Now I have a big blue knot on my shin. Yay for challenges. Lolz.
