I can't believe what just happened this afternoon. I'm sitting by the pool reading this months Bowhunting magazine. This guy walks by and says where do you hunt? Long story short my new friend Brent owns a 2500 acre bean and corn farm in southern Indiana. 1900 acres tillable 600 acres woods and creek bottoms and He doesn't hunt but his two sons do. They are 20 and 23. Before long over beers and cigars My brother in law and I are invited to come and hunt His farm next year with his boys. Real slow talking guy. "You know it's a big white tail when his horns knock down two rows corn when he walks through the field " funny He was not joking at all. He showed me a picture of a dead head he found on the edge of his bean field this summer while brush hogging. had to be 170-200. Unbelievable I know but this actually happened today.
