Not sure if this is breaking any rules of the site, if so I will remove it asap,...but I like to watch certain "live feed trail cams" that are posted by other sites. I particularly like the one from Lee and Tiffianys "the crush" as its in Iowa and at times has some very nice bucks appear. Just wondering if you guys have a favorite,...gives me something to watch when nothings on tv while I'm working out of town and cant get to the woods,... If you rewind the clip to about 9.40 you will see a funny site as a small buck rams a button buck for no apparent reason, looked like the small one took some injuries as he limped away,...nature is amazing,.. Live Deer Cam | Crush with Lee & Tiffany
There's a wide buck there right now. There are deer there pretty much all day. They must go through a literal ton of corn in short order.
This is a pretty good one, I posted it in the other threads as well. This one is in Minnesota and there is a few good bucks running around there: Deer Trail Cams
I have no idea but I'd think it'd be quite a bit. Here is the setup of the deer trail one I posted: Trail Cam Set up
If you're seriously interested, I can help you out. I work in the industry. The variables are so vast that to accurately give you numbers is nearly impossible. What I can tell you is that manufacturers make systems for just about every budget. For example, I have cameras that range from $150-$2000. They're obviously considerably different. Just depends on your needs. I can also tell you that the vast majority of cameras I've seen on these live feeds are not great quality cameras. There are cameras out that will give you 1080p quality. But they also come with a 1080p price. Then you need a DVR (Digital Video Recorder for analog cameras) or an NVR (Network Video Recorder for IP cameras) They start at holding 4 cameras and go in stages of 4... 4,8, 16 camera DVRs. Once you connect these two a network (the internet), you can view them from your iPad, iphone, droid phones, computer, etc. Anywhere in the world. Technically, if a person had enough money, he could know when the deer are coming his way, before the deer even know they're coming his way. Shoot me a PM and I can put some numbers together for you.
I posted the last post before the link of the other setup. That thing is a mess...it's obviously a DIY. There are considerably better ways to do it that aren't nearly labor intensive, but they're not terribly inexpensive either.
