Hey guys had a quick question and wanted to get everyone's advice/input on something. I have limbsaver limb dampeners on my bow. I know they are a lot of other brands out there but what I was wondering does it make a difference and if so how much on where you position them on your bow. Is it better to have them closer to the limb pockets, cams, or somewhere in the middle to help with vibration and noise? Thanks in advance!

On my bow (solid limb) I like to put mine about halfway between the point of flex in my limbs and the cam. This is the portion of the limb that is going to vibrate the most post-shot. As for advice on different dampeners, I have only used the limbsaver brand. Hope this helps!

Do you have access to a chronograph? if so I would shoot through it and move the dampeners around to see if it impacts speed. Other than that a good rule of thumb is about 1 inch from the cams, caveat being to make sure you allow for plenty of clearance.
