So Im looking for a drop away rest for my new bow (Mathews Creed) and found out there is a limb attached drop away rest. Has anyone shot one of these and what are your thoughts.

Ive been told that the string attached rest is pulling on the string so it can effect the draw length, tension on the string, and the string can creep after so many draws.

Im just looking for everyones opinion so if anyone could enlighten me, that would be great!!

If you do a search you will find a recent thread that should tell you everything you need to know about limb driven rest.
Pretty sure it's in general forum.

I use a limb driver pro v and love it. Easy to set up and tune I'll never switch. I don't know about string activated rests causing problems I've used them and hadn't noticed any real problems with them.

I think I am going with the Limb Driver ProV. Here is a good read that I was told to look at. I was worried about the string catching while out hunting but they made a good point, if that limb driver string gets caught up, so will your bow strings!! I think I am sold. Below is the link to the pros and cons of the limb driver vs. string driver!! Enjoy!!

I have the ripcord SOS and it is limb driven. I actually put it on one of my cables instead. I don't like that much string, just one more thing to break in my opinion.

LImb driven rests are very popular though.

I've been using a Limbdriver for years (Rob/PA sold me on them). Easy to setup, tune, and just simple. They work.

I had a hamskea full contain rest. I thought it was pretty legit. Never had any issues with it at all. Switched to a qad hdx after I ran my bow over and crushed everything on it and couldn't afford the hamskea again :(

Well, I pulled the trigger and purchased a Vaportrail Limbdriver Pro V. I havnt gotten any arrows yet but the setup was easy and the rest is solid!!! I called their number and have had great luck with the customer service as well. Those guys over there know what they have and know what they are talking about!! I'll give you all an update once I get some arrows and get them downrange!!!!
