We've had 20mph winds here for the last 3 days SOLID, it's getting old, but whatever. I went out to shoot and dang, I was shooting about 3" Left @ 40yards, moved up to 20yrds, close to 1" left...

I started tripping, I mean it's still pretty gusty 10-15mph just guessing, but I thought something was off.
I decided to shoot from the opposite Direction... started shooting to the Right... had to be the wind with these 4" feathers.

You guys just compensate your shot according to the wind when shooting in a crosswind at a deer? I know My effective range is going WAY down when it's windy.

But I can't ever remember shooting that far off my aim in the wind with blazers. Words of wisdom?

I'd say that's well within the realm of what a 20mph wind can do, especially @ 40yds. You can compensate, but if it's that windy, I reduce my range. I can live with a 1" variance @ 20yds.

Light arrow set ups will do that. I'd also guess that a low FOC won't help matters either In windier conditions.
