So I see many of the boats for bowfishing are using Halogens, but I have read that many are now using the 400w or 150w HPS lights. Is there any preference? I will be putting some type of setup on my 16ft Bass Tracker fishing boat so they will not be staying all the time. I'll more than likely build a bar or brace that can be removed and I have a Yamaha ef2400 Inverter for power.

Any suggestions or tips would be great.

    Thanks

I put halogens on mine. They are the simplist to install, but the others use less watts from your genny after they get warmed up. Halogens are cheap and I'm still learning what I need, so I figured I'd start there.

    Sent you a pm.

Halogens are good. The LED lights are good and use less energy...
