So I got some nocturnals for Christmas and was wondering if 11 grains in the difference in the weight of the arrow would make a difference in my arrows flight or do I need to go resight in my bow? Thanks for the help in advance.

I asked the same question earlier this week. The consensus I got was that it makes no noticeable difference.

Go take a couple practice shots with it. For me it made no difference in flight but better safe than sorry

Always shoot your bow after any change.

Check your nock to string fit.
The set I had were extremely tight and would cause POI issues.

You can always take sandpaper or an emery board to trim it down so it is not so tight.

Yep. Back the day it was also common to heat a nock and then install it for a "custom" fit to your serving. I don't think I would recommend that nows day with modern bows though :) .

I sand the outside of the nock insert if it is too tight to slide into the arrow as well as the inside where the string fits if it is tight. Nothing wrong with it does not change durability and only helps with accuracy.

Good to know on the sand paper, I might actually give them another try.

I use Nocturnals and they made no noticeable change in how my arrows flew. I DIDN'T have to re-sight my bow after installing them.

Always check to be sure but as several have said most won't make a noticeable difference. The nockturnals I shoot fit the string nice. This may vary based on strand count of your strings and serving. It they are a little tight or loose you should be able to adjust.

The ones I got fit well and made no change in my flight but always a good idea to make sure especially if you shoot long distances
