I want some lighted nocks on my hunting arrows, If I only do 3 arrows and leave the rest will the fly much differently?
i bought the carbon express and the nockturnals to try out last year. Hands down I like the nockturnals (yet I shoot carbon express arrows). They just seemed to work better and fit the arrows much better. I didn't really notice any difference and I loved watching it fly into my buck this year early in the morning.
I shoot nocturnals and love them ive been shooting them now for 3 years and they last. I also like how they stay on till you turn them off i dont like how others blink and then shut off ive lost a couple arrows due to that. But you wont notice a difference in shooting them against stock nocks unless you shoot out to 70 and further with extensive tuning you notice a little difference but thats about it and the nocturnals are brighter than all the others it seems like i tried the carbon express and the luminok and like the first post said the nocturnals seem to fit my carbon express mayhems and reds better just try them youll love them i love just shooting them at night in my yard its awesome especially if you get 3 or so guys shooting them its like a lazer show lol
I am shooting nockturnals this year and have had good luck with them. Lots of practice shots and no failures.
My nockturnals gummed up with blood and no longer work well... One deer! I switched to the launch pads and they are way better. Fit tight , stay on, very bright, no issue with a switch and moisture. They do weight a bit so you may have to move you rest up a bit. T
????? Why would you mess up your nock point? Just shoot them and if they hit low adjust your sight. Dont take your bow out of tune for a heavier nock lol
I bought my nephew some Launchpads since he had standard size arrows (I need H nocks). His did the same thing, one shot on a doe and it didn't work anymore. I think it can happen to any lighted nock, none are bullet proof.
Ive used the 3 major brands. launch pads, nockturnals, and luminoks. Currently using the launch pads since they had zero affect on point of impact and activate every time. Easy to turn off. Nockturnals would be a very close second. Pretty much the only thing lacking over the launch pads is you need something to turn them off with. the Luminoks were horrible for me. changed my point of impact by about 4 inches low and left. I never could get them to activate reliably. Some people seem to love them, but I would not recommend them.
The nocturnals have saved my arse numerous times. I've been using them for 5 years or so with no problems. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Nocturnals for me. Although I have had them not go off one time. I always test them now to make sure they go off and that it isn't affecting my shot placement in anyway. Sent from my SCH-R530U using Tapatalk
I went with launch pads this year after reading some of the things guys on here said about them. So far so good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk www.skyangler.com
