Shot a doe last night @ 7:46 (sunset was @ 7:29) & had nocturnals on my arrows. I was in a heavily wooded area & the light was not good. (I contemplated not taking the shot). My bow was chrono'd @ 317 fps & the lighted knock helped enough to see the shot & where the arrow ended up. They are a must have in my opinion.

Not blasting lighted nocks but if you are unsure of whether to shoot or not in low light then why shoot? Just because the lighted nock will show up is not really a good idea. Due to low light you cannot pick a spot and are likely to get a bad hit. Yes, the nock will confirm the hit but why not call it quits when light gets too low?
When light gets too low I usually bag it. I like to video the hunt so that is my trigger for ending hunting for the day.

I have some nocturnals and they have worked for me. helped me see my shot on my buck this year...it did fill with blood. but it glowed for days after i shot it, i just left it on to see how long it would last. I am very interested in tying Launchpads! How do you turn Launchpads off?

they are worth every penny in low light conditions as soon as you release your eyes focus right on the nock and you know right where you hit your deer, plus when tracking your deer you can see the nock from a long ways away to help find your deer

I have to agree with that. We have the nockturnals and we love them. i tried a Lumenock once at the shop. didn't much care for it.
