Some love them, personally there not for me. In my opinion you hit where you hit. NO matter what I don't rush to go see the unfortunate game to die by my arrow. Give it time.

Now if I was filming I think it is a really cool feature to have...

I shoot tracer nocks and like them. After they are shot ,in ten seconds they start flashing until turned off. I shoot all black vanes and it is much easier to see the impact point on turkeys more so than deer. I also shoot them before season in the late evening to see if I have any "kick" issues with my broadhead setup.. In my old age, they deffinately help me see where the arrow hits, and not to worry Chef Nerd, I also DON'T rush to go see the unfortunate game die by my arrow, BUT it sure is sweet sitting in my stand after I have seen the lighted nock bury in the breadbasket and knowing that the animal is going to expire fairly quick, instead of not being sure where the hit was and sitting there second guessing myself.........

I tried Nockturnals this year and I am very glad I did. The red is very bright and did not change my POI at all.

I caved in and picked up some nockturnals. So far so good. They turn on every time, they're bright, not too thrilled with the way you turn them off but if thats the only complaint, i think ill like these.

I've been shooting w. Luminoks for a couple years, still have my originals with hundreds of shots through each of them and no failures. The originals are still lighting up, just not very bright now. My new ones, that I'll be using for hunting glow WAY brighter than anything I've compared them to. I purchased the pink Nockturnals at one point and tried them, but they just are not very bright. I also tried the green Nockturnals first, but realized that I really could not see them at all. Due to my colorblindness I guess. So I went back to the Red Luminoks.

I use Lumenoks too. Take a little tweaking at first, but once you get used to installing them there's no problem. Plus you can change the batteries.

I use Nocturnals and still dead on at 40 yards with no adjustments. As said above Nocturnals are easy to turn off. Just make sure you GET THE ONES FOR YOUR ARROWS

For hunting I would not go without. I have used luminocks (did not like them) and Nocturnals (worked well until gummed up with blood). This year I am switching to the new CE launchpads and really like them so far... bright, easy to instal, no magnets needed like some require, long lasting, fit perfectly.

Nocturnal users , I seem to have difficulty turning off the one I tried. It was tough to push the plunger portion back . Is this normal as I se several saying they are easy to turn off?

I can't figure how y'all aren't seeing a poi change. With both the launch pads and nokturnals I am seeing a drop. At 40 it's not but a inch or 2 but at 80 we are talking 6-8 inches. Hunting I won't shoot past 40 but still...

I believe in my lumanoks, I've practiced with the same three I used last season all summer long and have net to have one fail on me. I do notice a change in POI if I can back to my regular nocks but that is to be expected. I'm guessing these nocks have close to 500 shots on each if them.

I have shot both Luminocks and Nocturnals. Nocturnals are the best one so far.

I use my pocket knife and pushup slowly until the light is off. You have to have a good point on whatever you are using to get under the plunger. I have turned mine off with a field point too.

I use the Nocturnal knocks and they shoot the same as my standard nocks. A friend of mine has left one on in his gun cabinet and it stayed lit for 4 months, of course it was dim, but none the less still lit. Money very well spent IMO

I believe its a must have they are a great tool...make sure you check the regulations to make sure they are legal some states are illegal lumenocks is what I use..I have tried tracers one year and I lost the magnet so I had to get that replaced in order for it to work again one thing I did like from tracers is the blinking light

i agree with all you guys ive tried lumenock and nocturnal. the noctural is a way better product. keep in mind tho, the point of impact of the arrow is the same but it weighs 20 grains twice as heavy as some nocks. i would reccomend checking your foc. when i add nocturals i use a 125 grain broadhead to keep foc in the 10 to 15% range so i know penetration will not be affected

Another one for nocturnal. I use a field point to turn it off. Just practicing with them makes me feel like I'm in Star Wars.
