I have never used any lighted nocks before. Are they worth it? It is something I have considered buying this year but would just like some of your opinions.
    Thanks

The ones I experimented with, Luminocks, dropped my arrow noticably at even as close as 20yds. I'd say if you decide to hunt with them on your arrows just practice with them first and adjust your sight pins accordingly. In spite of the pros and cons about using them, they sure do look cool on film blasting through game :)
I have three almost brand new ones sitting on the shelf, I don't plan to hunt with them though

I really like the idea of lighted nocks. In terms of brands, I have owned both Lumenoks and Nockturnals and personally I like the nocturnals a lot better. The lumenoks are a hassle to turn off, while the nocturnals just require you to flip a switch on the inside. Both brands were given to me so I didn't waste any money but if I were you I would go with the nocturnals.

Lighted Nocks are awesome! That being said... I've been using the Lumenok's on my FMJ's, however some of them became soft and after shooting they are now mis-shapen (due to recent high temps?). I'm going with Nocturnals as I have found them to be more robust. Both have worked very well for me.

Have lighted nocks given you an unfair advantage? I don't think it will, it will only help in the recovery. Just my opinion, wondering what the users think.

Unfair Advantage - No. Helping with Recovery - Absolutely! And with arrows and broadheads costing over $10 and more a pop... I'll use one everytime. They really are a good investment.

Nocturnal Lighted Nocks are the BEST on the Market! I did not have to adjust my sight at all when I installed them. My arrows flew the same as they did with non-lighted nocks. I use them on my FMJ's and my Victory VAP V1 arrows. I have yet to have one fail on me. Easy to install. Easy to turn off once they are on.

nockturnals are great products. Very helpful in arrow recovery and I didnt have to adjust my sights at all either.

I bought some tgb lighted nocks. I have had no issues with them at all, and my arrows shoot the same as with the normal nocks. Plus they are easier on the wallet. I believe you can get 6 for around 30 bucks.

I tried Lumenoks for a while not long after I first started bowhunting, but they kept breaking. Maybe they weren't designed to hold up to 70# pushing against a 530 grain arrow. I don't know. Anyway, after a few partial dry fires because of them breaking on the shot I did away with them.

For a while I thought about trying a different brand, but then I found that a white wrap, three white blazers and a white nock let me see my arrow flight and impact point on the deer very well without the added weight on the non-business end of my arrow.

As far as finding my arrow goes, all I have to do is look where the deer was standing when I shot. Hit or miss it'll be there sticking in the dirt.

This will be my first year using lighted nocks. I choose the Nockturnals and I love them. They have yet to fail me after hundreds of shots and are super easy to turn off. I shot Carbon Express Mayham arrows and they were loose in the shafts so I asked my bow tech guy and he said to take dental floss or plastic wrap and wrap around then a little and it fixed it right up. Out to 40 yards you couldn't tell a difference in arrow flight. They are fun shooting too!!!!!

Never used them. I was always turned off by my friends that used lumenocs and had nothing but trouble with them. Has anyone tried the new launchpads by Carbon Express?

Started using Nockturnals last year, loved them. Found my deer after dark, could see the light nockturnal about 50 yards away glowing in the dark (the arrow stayed in the deer), so cool.

I have three launch pads in my gold tips, and they work great! Shoot the same as my factory nocks!

NEVER buy lumenoks! i bought some last year and one didnt work right out of the package. Yes customer service was great and replaced the nock, but the nocks (green) werent very bright and the battery was about dead after shooting a deer and finding the arrow about an hour and a half later. I was looking at the new launchpads and the nockturanls the other day but still have a bad taste in my mouth from those lumenoks.

I had the same issue with lumenoks....bought Nockturnals and never going back...lol. I had one Nockturnal glow for over 10 hours. Thought that was good.
