Any suggestions on lighted nocks?? I really like the Nockturnals but with all the choices to choose from I am kind of lost on the one that is best suited for me. I want something simple and reliable. I would also like something with a long battery life and I think something with replicable batteries would be good also to help extend the life of the nocks. Last but not least practice nocks to shoot during the off season would be great. (If there are even practice nocks available.) I would appreciate any suggestions. If you have any tips for a first time user of lighted nocks I would love to hear them also. Thanks!!!!

What do you like about them? In your opinion what sets them apart from the rest?

Thanks, I remember reading this when he first done it but forgot about it. This should help out a lot. I just don't want to spend 10 bucks a nock and be dis-satisfied with what I end up with.
    Thanks

I use Firenocks. They are expensive but work great. You can get a pack of three target nocks and three hunting nocks and you're set for practice and hunting season. Here is the link. Firenock Packs - Firenock, lighted nock,

    Sorry to 'jump' in... :hijacked:

I was looking at these... How you like 'em Fitz?
I usually shoot Lumenoks (Size X), but last week I broke 1/2 a nock and now I'm skiddish - maybe got a bad batch.

I litteraly installed them lastnight. I probably won't shoot them until Friday at the Campground. I sliced the crap out of my palm on my bow hand earlier this week. I'm trying to let it heal before shooting again.

Nokturnals have worked great for me, I picked up 7 3 packs on eBay for what 2.5 packs cost new retail price.... So I'm set for several years now.

Lumenoks again for me or Carbon Express if your using their arrows. They work the same. Very simple and always work.

I've broken them installing them as well. Call them and they'll send you a new set.

I have nokturnals that I have been using and they have worked awesome.
I actually left one on once and it was still glowing the next day (not well but still on)
The next pack I get will be nokturnals again for sure.

I think I remember you saying you are headed to CO for an elk hunt. Better check your regs to make sure lighted nocks are legal. Last time I looked they are not. But, that was a while back and may have changed.

I'm currently using Ignitors, I like them so far. Been using them for a couple months now.

Thanks to eveyone for the replies. I definiatly like the Nockturnals, but I am curious to the new Carbon Express nocks. Fitz do you think you can maybe do a test of them and do a review of them? I would love to see how they do when being shot. If you could post some pics that would be awesome too.
