So I want to use lighted nocks on my hunting arrows, but they are expensive so i cant put them on all my arrows. Do you think my arrow would fly different if my target arrows had a normal nock compared to my hunting arrows with the lighted nocks?

Not enough to notice (at least for my shooting) I use nockturnals and love them.

nocturnals wgh the same as your regular nocks. I believe they are 20 grains
But even if you went with a different brand the difference would most likely not be enough to throw you shot off that much. at 30 yards it might only be 1/8"

I agree with the others, I shoot the nocturnals also and I only put them on 3 arrows. I can't tell enough difference in the flight

Not enough to worry about, buy a three pack and you should be good for the season. I been using them for awhile now and really like em.

Yep nockturnals are light weight and really light up good, makes seeing the shot so much easier. And for those who film hunts make cool footage, but more importantly help you decide when to take up the blood trail after studying the film and the shot placement.

And another "AGREE"... NOCKturnals are on my arrows. Buy the 3 pack.. Don't even worry with putting them on field tips.. Just your broadheads.. And when you shoot an arrow at a deer, just pull it off and put it on a new arrow.. They will last a really long time.. Still using the same 3 from last year. Pending you don't lose an arrow of course...

I've just started using the tracer nocks and not sure about them yet. Anyone else not care for them?

    They suck.
The only time i used them i had the magnet on the riser near the rest. I drew back on a doe. And "tink" the broad head was stuck to the magnet. Also after i fixed that every one i **** a deer with was broken after the arrow hit the deer the battery would pop off

some other thoughts here to save some money, take a look at these and drill your nocks to fit, the only issue is they are on once youve cracked them, but if you have a bow quiver cover it wont matter.

Also, there is flouro fletch if you want it, thats what i use for small game at night.

Or even tape which you can put on your arrows

You can also use reflective tape and carry a strong torch which will hopefully send back the light

I have Lumenok and like them pretty well. They are not complicated at all. You just leave the nock off the back of the arrow about 1/16th of an inch, and when you release the arrow it pushes the nock up against the end of the arrow, closing the circuit and turning the light on. I haven't personally had any failures to light, but some have said they have had some issues with them. To turn them off, you just have the pull the nock back away from the back of the arrow. The only issue I have had w. mine is leaving the nock a little too close to the base, and not noticing it, and ran the battery down on one. Operator error, can't blame that on the nock.

I switched from Lumenok's to Nocturnals this year. Nocturnals are awesome and work everytime. I also do the same thing where I just leave them on my hunting arrows. I will occasionally practice with them though. You will not notice a difference in flight unless you are a shooting god.

I use the lumenoks for now, I like them quite a bit, plus with the zeon fusion vanes I have on my arrow they light up great, my only issue I have had is that they sometimes turn off with a pass through when they hit wood or the ground hard afterwards, have only had it happen twice thus far, other than that I love 'em, the pink ones are definitely the easiest and brightest to see as well in my opinion

Had serious issues with magnet.. Worked great while sighting in and pre-hunting shooting.. Come hunting season, 1 of 3 worked.. And it only worked once.. Others had never been shot and they were dead.. Just my experience with them.. Not bashing them, just had issues and NOCKturnals have not failed me in 2 years..
