Okay fine young people- it would help to have lighted nocks in this thick country. Lumenocks seem to be very inconsistant. They sometimes will go off in flight. Burt coyote wants me to buy there squaring tool. Tried eastman's magnet deployed product, and have lost two magnets. Thought they were mounted correctly-but maybye i'm a dumbass!-help
I'm not sure if you are into making your own or not but I plan on doing this within the next few weeks: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hMqLT-4ezzk
It's not too bad there is a plunger inside the nock that you pull up with another nock they are a little stiff at 1st but loosen up pretty quick.
I've used Lumenoks with zero issues last year and this past spring and summer. They will be coming with me bear hunting in three days Seriously though, I've shot them through deer and many times into my target. They have never once failed on me.
Another vote for the nocktunrals. Absolutely love them. Easy to turn off with a field point or a knife. They really have a nice design and it works great. Weight is also something to check into. Nockturnals only weigh 20grains. As far as how many. Every hunting shaft that I use gets them put on. I want every shaft to be excatly the same. So if one gets it, then they all get it.
Fixing to order some Nocturnals right now from the big "C." From what I've read, they are one of the better ones. Blessings........Pastorjim
Why order from the Big "C" when you can get them right here from our friends at Bowhunting.com while you post. ;-) http://www.bowhunting.com/shopping/search.aspx?keyword=nockturnal
tracer knocks. stay lit thru the entire flight and then about 8 sec later they have a continuos blink to them. great product.
i usually get 6 and put three on practice arrows and save three for the my unshot arrows and compare them to regular nocks. Had a little difference on the lumennocks, but, really not that much. (unless i was levi morgan).ya'll have convinced me to try thee nockturnals. -opa
