I would recommend Nockturnal, as most would. They are the easiest and simplest out there, that don't cost as much as some guys releases either. Incase if you don't know, the size you need is X, and they do have a sizing chart on the back of their packages.

Wow, I thought there would be a wider range of nocks used in this category. I'm a Nocturnal fan also. I made the switch last year to them and absolutely loved them. Watching a bright red light disappear into a deers' shoulder is awesome.

The only complaint with the Nocturnals, and its not a big deal at all, is I wish they were a bit easier to turn on and off. You have to stick something small into a tiny hole in the side of the nock and pull up to disengage them. Not a huge deal, just wish it were easier. However, the big benefit here is that blood doesn't get into the nock as easily and once cleaned up, they can be used again.
I killed four deer last year using them and each nock, once washed up under warm water works perfectly fine.

I've used Nocturnals, Luminok, and Carbon Express Launch Pads. My favorite is the Launch Pads, followed by Luninok. I did not care for the Nocturnals because of the switch on the side. I like the Launch Pads because the base end that slides into the arrow seat nice and tight. It doesn't move once the nock is inserted and all you have to do is pull out or push in on the nock to turn it on and off. It's not like the Luminok where you have to twist it to pull the whole nock forward. The Launch Pads are the easiest to use and most fool proof lighted nock I have have used.

Oh, and they come in a bad azz blue color that looks sooooo sweet on film.

I hear ya. I practise with them and just check their alignment each time I nock one. Also not sure if "how far" I pull them out affects my shots. I'm not married to Luminoks and just remember having a Nocktural turn on in the stand and as I was trying to shut it off with the tip of a knife the whole nock flew out on the ground:( Never bought them again.

I used to use Lumnock, but switched over to "Nock-out" and love them. They are easier to turn off than Lumnoks and I think they are brighter. There is a little collar that you can twist to "lock" them so they don't accidentally get bumped and turn on. Twist the collar over to activate them for the hunt.

Never shot with Nocturnals, but heard good stuff about them as well.

I do like the Launch Pads, do you know if they fit Eastons FMJ? Looked online and it seems their one size fit all?

I'm really surprised at how many people are shooting nocturnals. I've never been impressed by their brightness at all, unless it's in super low light. Lumenocks blew them out of the water when it came to brightness and their weight was less consistent from nock to nock when I weighed them.

    Interesting.
