    Hey Guys,

Just a reminder to check all lifelines and inspect prusik knots before using them this year. I checked a line yesterday and one of the bottom loops in the knot was overlapping which therefore caused it to freely slide should someone have fallen. Be safe and always inspect your gear before using it every year.

    Good Luck this Season!

Good post! While checking stands this past weekend I found a prussik knot that had been chewed on by some rodent and needs replacing. You can never be too safe!

Had the same thing happen to me on my first sit of the year. Got to the stand in the dark and a squirrel had chewed it completely off the rope.

Same with mine this year shortly after putting it out.
