    I don't know about any of you guys, but I'm super excited for this show tonight. The people that made Planet Earth are releasing a new series called Life that starts up tonight at 8 ET on Discovery. Are any of you guys really into Planet Earth?

    I loved Earth,

    but listening to 10 episodes of Oprah talking is gonna be rough

    Wow this is really weird. I was literally just getting ready to post about this, as I think it's odd that it's narrated by Oprah. Aside from probably having no real world connection to wildlife, her voice doesn't strike be as the narrating type. You know who has a good narrating voice? Sam Elliot.

    Meh. Not crazy impressed with the show. Seems a lot of it is the same recycled stories with the same old characters and a few new ones.....but better camera work and in HD. They focus so much on breeding and parenting and 90% of the time, when they do show a life struggle, the prey gets away.....almost in a PC way.

    Planet Earth was much better.
