Is it best to face the licking branch toward your tree stand or does it really matter? Just trying to figure out the best way to position this taking into account wind and other factors. Trying to get some best practices and to avoid any bad stand/branch placement ideas.

3/4 -1" drill. Insert branch. Secure from turning with deck screw.
