I suspect as precautionary support for the 50 Marines sent to secure the embassy and assets. One report said there were as many as 2000 protesters involved in the initial protest turned attack.

I can't find the articles, but I red about blood trails outside the embassy, apparently from his suffocation?! The other 3 apparently killed at the safe house--how did 'the protesters' know where the safe house was?

Hillary also said something to the effect of 'we're working with the gov't of Libya on this'...

I know, its as bad as you citing the Huffington Post and the Washington Post.

Good to see you Mike. We need more political threads around here so you can grace us with your presence more often. :tu:

    The Huffington Post?

I think you have me confused sir.

    The Washington Post. Absolutely.

Not to mention even the Huffington post is more viable then the pundit.. which is not even credible news... or written by credible authors. (Mostly one author).

Please.. enlighten me Dano... all the viable news sources seem to claim the guy was being brought to the hospital.. where it was determined he passed of asphyxiation. Your post seems to undermine that claim.. complete with the citation of a nutjobs "news outlet".

Mike, you're the political ninja on these boards. Just tell me what I should read and believe and I will.

    Enlighten me. Please.

    Not a political ninja.

I just hate the use misinformation on the internet.. particularly on forums and social media outlets.

A picture (in this instance) is thrown out over the internet of men carrying the body of our slain ambassador.. the credible news outlets are claiming the men carrying him were getting him to the hospital. Enough said.

The complete right-wing nut-jobs are screaming foul play.. claiming his body thrown and tossed in the streets.

Knowing the nature of the slaying of this ambassador (a right-winged nut-jobs movie depicting Mohammad in a bad way is being used as one excuse).. and the general distaste for Islamic culture by right-wing folk (often uneducated).. it's really a no-brainer.

Why not believe the side that has nothing to gain... the presidents.

The other side is just trying to get an emotional rise.. a feeling of "we need to kill all these people".. the same rise ironically enough that this very movie started in the first place. The idea is to make the president look bad.. thus elect someone else.

Look.. I'm no fan of Obama.. but I sure as haitis don't fall for ridiculous propaganda by a known (either sided) extremist media outlet.

Everyone thinks I'm always defending the current administration.. I'm not.. I'm defending education on the subject. I make fun of liberals too.

Mike, it seems you repeat the same thing in every thread that you enter involving politics. Anyone quoting a different source than you is "uneducated" and a "right wing nut job." My favorite is, "I make fun of liberals too." (FTR, I don't recall ever seeing it on these boards)

I asked you a serious question, enlighten me on what news sources I should follow. You claim to be a political junky. I want to know what I should be reading.

BTW, I know nothing of the political leanings of the site I posted earlier. When I got the link from a friend earlier, it was the first time I had ever been on the site.

Of course you don't see it on these boards.. none of you are liberal. Shall I just make a thread about liberals just so we can bash them? That comment doesn't even make any sense to me.. why would I just hop onto Bowhunting.Com and bash someone.. who's not even here? I have better things to do with my day.

Here.. a few with no political ties.. didn't know you were serious.

    http://www.independent.co.uk/

    http://therealnews.com/t2/

    One that slightly leans..

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/

You may not like the post.. but the authors here are incredible and extremely credible. One of the current economist writers here served under Reagan.

Just google "Stevens dragged".. of course the first page is full of internet bloggers and ultra right wing types.. and yes.. they are mostly ultra right wing or conspiracy theorists.

You won't see a CNN.. a ABC.. even a Fox news on the first page of google under that search. (Not that I think any of these are great news sources.. but it proves a point).

Those little outlet websites don't have a chance to hop on the first page of google when the big dog news medias play the same story.. but the news media outlets aren't playing because the evidence points the other way.

By the way.. its late and I'm going to bed.. good luck on some of those bucks yo!

Thanks for the links, I'll check them out.

By the way, even though I'm on BHC, I'm not a right wing nut job. Far from it in fact.

Thanks, I need the luck after the last few years. Good luck to you too.

Dan, it should be obvious to any sheep that they are only there to help the poor man to the hospital. The cell phones stuck in his face are simply being used to see if his pupils are fixed and dilated. Others are calling ahead to make sure the hospital is ready for his quick arrival. Come on man, Hillary said so! Don't believe what you see in pictures. Probably some conservative photoshop hack job.
