It will not take them long for a new cause, we have seen it in this thread, incest should obviously be normalized. The left is always seeing how far they can pervert society, as proven time and time again.
The Civil Unions vs Marriage debate. Kinda reminds me of the segregation debate of the 50's and early 60's. It wasn't that the Jesus loving, God fearing segregationist were against black children going to school or having access to a public restroom or water fountain, so long as it different than their own.
Boys are already having to fight other boys off themselves in school... I know this to be "Fact" from very personal experience. And when a fight starts because a boy's advance was jilted by another boy, the boys and girls who say no to an unwanted advance are treated with a high degree of disregard from the school staff. As some of you like to toss out here... "Fact"
For those of you the feel homosexuality should be socially acceptable and sanctioned by the government, the church and God, do you also feel that Polygamy should be just as acceptable? Incest? Just trying to figure out if you are as tolerant as you make yourselves out to be or if you only champion the popular cause?
Gays in schools aren't anything new. What can the school do if one turns down the advances from another? It's no different than a girl shooting down a guy that asks them out.

Society has done a good job of perverting itself all on its own since the beginning of time. Just read any book on the Old Testament for validation of this statement. I am a Christian and a conservative on most issues but I cant find anything wrong with gay marriage based on the constitution...only people's religous beliefs. The last I checked We are a democracy, with separation between church and state, not a theocracy like Iran and so many other Islamic Nations.
While it is the same, and I completely agree with you jackflap, you will find most will deflect or ignore this subject. History repeats itself. The same things are being said today, as they were in the last equal rights movement. Most just won't admit it.
We have already discussed incest. Stupid arguement. It has negative effects on others. Gay marriage does not. Polygamy? Good question. Most all of the main characters in the Old Testament were polygamists and had mistresses (concubines) on the side...all with God's blessing. Come to think of it, Abraham, the father of all nations was married to his sister. He also let the Pharaoh take her as a wife and got rich from it with gifts. Some would call that pimping...ahhh the folly of the self righteous...
Boys can't (aren't allowed to) follow girls into the boy's locker room. Its waaay different when the principle is also gay and doesn't see anything wrong with the advance made on the boy. I can tell you... to my knowledge, that never once happened when I was in school. I am sure it did somehwere but I never knew of it... Now it is pretty common.
If you research any post I have ever made, you will be hard pressed to find me use religion in anyone of them. I believe in God, his son Jesus Christ, but that is my belief. I do not believe God created this earth and human beings to spend all there time worshipping him or his son, but to live life to the fullest. And this separation of church and state is a myth. I have never seen that in writing in the history of our Republic. I thought it was something to the effect that the government shall not establish religion or something to that affect.
Like the majority of blacks who do not believe two people of the same gender being able to marry as a civil right, those racists.
Polygamy, incest, why should I care what consenting adults do on their own property if it does not affect anyone else?
Minorities being given the right to simply interact with other humans and use the same public services as the rest of us is TOTALLY the same as allowing gay couples to claim they are married. Christians not wanting to belittle the sanctity of marriage are no different than the racists pigs that walked the streets 2/3 of a century ago! Thanks for bringing up that point, it seems extremely valid. Next you will tell me that scholarships are given out based on the color of your skin! The audacity of hypocrisy these days, I tell ya what.
So....should "gay's" have individual changing rooms? Should they be allowed to use woman's locker rooms since they have the same sexual preference? What if somebody "gasp" LIES so they can get a little visual action!?!?!? Is there even an answer? Or is this why God intended it to be simply boy likes girl?
