As anyone used the Leverage climbing sticks yet? I am in the maket for a set of sticks and was looking at LW and Muddy products and came across these sticks. If you have used this sticks can you give me some feed back.

    Thanks,
    Stefen

I'm with ya. I was going to buy two sets myself and if their all they say they are, I'll sell my 4 new LW sticks.

The double steps are also great for when your hanging your stand you can put your weight on both feet.

definitely an alternative to lw and muddy, with an attractive price to boot.

Couple things I didn't like about them when I saw them at ATA.

    1. The hook/strap system. Similar to what Gorilla uses on their stands, it has a plastic-coated hook that clips onto a bracket. Not a horrible method, but not great either. I know with gloves on they'll be a pain to use. The LW versa-button has them beat there.

    2. Non-adjusting tree bracket. The bracket on the back of the stick that grips the tree is static and doesn't move at all. This makes it more difficult to climb crooked trees, and is the reason why Muddy changed their design after the first year.

    3. Price is great, but they're still made in China. I'm not a US-only guy, but I certainly try to support companies who build product in the US as much as I can.

I just let my compulsive nature get the best of me and I ordered a set from Cabelas. They are on backorder though.

I would think these sticks and a muddy hunter hang on would be a great set up for someone in the market today. IMO.

    Now you tell me:)

All good points. I would think by this time next year LW, Muddy and a few other companies will have all of these improvements incorporated into their own products.

I have skinny legs so hanging my stand quickly and quietly why supporting 210lbs on one leg is a pain in the neck. Well leg anyhow:-/ I think LW sticks should have steps on each side or Muddy should make their sticks longer. IMO
