Glad to see this thread because I have been starting to look at them too. I actually don't want it on the truck for the summer but want to have one by fall.

Mine when it was actually clean and not caked in 400 layers of salt. Also with Leer 100XL.

I can put all four kayaks in my truck and still pull my camper with my cap on. I frequently put 1 kayak in and leave the tailgate closed and cap window open. No tie down required.

I have a Leer XR on my Tacoma. I love the functionality and the look but I'm going to be seeing how good their warranty is real soon. My locking components (on the inside) are rusted very badly and I cannot get it to lock anymore. I've only had the cap for 4 or 5 years. I'm not sure why they're rusting so bad I've only ever had water come in on the front corners because of the poor initial installation.

Finally got the XL installed on my Tacoma... Freakin love it. Sticker shock over with now that its fully paid for. I actually think small trucks like Tacomas look better with it on. Have a cot set up taking half the bed, full time rolling camp with me wherever I go.

Looks great. I have a bestop on mine, and I love the rolling camp aspect. My wife and I have slept in both this truck and back in the day, my old Tacoma with a softopper on it:

    You guys suck.........:hater:

Actually submitted a request today for a quote to the place just north of Crystal Lake today for Line X, and a Leer XL. Going to see if they can tint my windows and install a remote starter too. Might as well go big. :tu:
