I'm in the market for a new quiver this offseason. What holds your arrows? Would you recommend it? Does anyone have experience with the Tight Spot quiver they can share?
Tight spot is an outstanding quiver that is very secure and quiet. I never had a single problem with it when it was on my z7.
i personaly love my alpine soft lock quiver its very quite and with the rubber securing system you dont have to worry about it coming loose i would buy another one in a heart beat
Trophy Ridge Torsion Quiver. Lightweight, small, and quite. Mounting system is very slick too. Not to mention it has build in hanger if you choose to hang it in tree.
I have a Bohning Panther and a Apex Nano....I don't spend much on them cause I take them off as soon as I get in my stand.
i have a G5 head loc quiver. it okay i guess. it holds my arrows securely and is lightweight. thats all i need
I have a tight spot on my Creed and I am really stoked on it. The new 2013 models have a foam-less hood, basically a rubber insert that holds the tips of the arrows. It pulls out relatively easy, so I had to use some Gorilla Glue Epoxy and now its fine. Also, when putting it on your bow, make sure it'll clear your limbs. I had trouble with the hood rattling after the shot and couldn't figure out what was wrong until I finally witness the limbs hit the hood when drawing back my bow. After fixing those problems, I think Tight Spot have the best quiver on the market. I suggest getting one, for sure...
I have an alpine soft lock. And have never had a problem with it. I just got Easton full metal jackets and since they are a little thinner then my last arrows I may look into getting a new one that holds them tighter. For now it works though.
I made a post a few weeks ago and the Tightspot and Alpine soft-loc got the most votes. I think I am going with the Tightspot as I want to start shooting with the quiver on the bow.
Does the Alpine Soft Lock have foam in the hood? I've been leaning toward the Tight Spot quiver, but I'm not married to it yet.
I have a Soft Lock on my Marquis and a G5 Mag Lock on my Sentinel. The Mag Lock is iffy in the QC department, but I like how quickly it comes off the bow. The Soft Lock I've had for years and still holds solid. In fact, sometimes I feel it's too solid and takes a little too much effort to pop off and on in the stand. That's just me being picky though. I don't really mind since they both do their job of holding the arrows on the bow until I get to the stand where I remove it.
I have the same thing. Its not that great but it gets the job done. Sent from my LG-P925 using Tapatalk 2
I have an Alpine Bearclaw quiver I won in a 3d shoot that I'd be willing to sell. It hasnt been used or even put on a bow. PM me if you are interested. Sent from my LG-P925 using Tapatalk 2
I have the tightspot on my bow currently and it does sit real tight and is awesome to shoot with, but I really don't like the way it holds the arrows. I prefer foam the tight spot has plastic holes and seems like it couldn't hold to many types of BHs. I'll Prolly end up selling mine and going back to an alpine Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk 2
I have had such good luck with my Bohning 1 piece quivers. Good price and they have worked so well so me.
