More often than not, I am uncomfortable with Ted being a spokesperson for bow hunting. He is way over the top for me.
I've really mellowed on Ted. In the beginning God made the earth.... and I thought Ted was a pain in the ***. As time has passed, I have learned to laugh and actually enjoy some of his rants and views. Yes he's over the top..... but so is the other side of the arguement. I could care less about his music. I gave up worrying about him behind his high fence... it's his thing. I wouldn't do it.... but it is what it is. I think it sucks.... but it's legal. I find it refreshing that he enjoys shooting a crotch horn if he feels like it. He doesn't get into all this bull crap about Big horns, Big racks, big scrotums to feel good about frying up some venison. Yes, he's over the top. But that's him. He gets our message in front of the main stream media. None of these other shows are able to do that. They're played on the Outdoor Channel or the Sportsman Channel and we never hear about the show or the people again unless you go to a show or something. Uncle Ted with his crazy ways gets a positive message from the hunting community on national TV. I used to hate him... now I think old Ted isn't so crazy after all.
