I don't think the author thinks he's better than Ted. Just pointing out Teds BS.

I give him kudos for standing up to Ted sheep who would follow what ever nugent says.

This is my take, I do agree with you on the only killing trophy animals part, who cares what he or anyone else shoots.

Agreed and i almost blew my speakers the other day when strangle hold came on. All time Great rock song.IMO

Seems to me like most entertainers, Ted is full of himself and does not back down when ask his opinion. I think the Achery community chases him more than he chases us. With that said I think he's got his heart in the right spot but still living by the flesh.

I don't necessarily think the author thinks he's better either Germ. The opening of the blog just makes it sound like he does.

So true! I've been to 4 Nugent concerts....... all awesome.

I prefer Ted in concert over watching his hunting shows. At least he is doing things to help protect our hunting rights.

I guess the question is, is Ted helping or hurting?

Honestly - I don't think he's either helping OR hurting the overall cause of hunting. I think he has a bigger impact on gun rights and gun owernship than hunting.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - hunting is a multi-billion dollar business. Between gear sales, license sales, travel expenses, land sales, leases etc. it rakes in a lot of money. So long as we continue to spend our hard earned money on this sport that we love which keeps money flowing both into private business as well as the government's pocket via license sales and taxes, hunting isn't going anywhere.

The fear of Peta coming in tomorrow and shutting us all down is pretty ridiculous IMO. What's more important is that we keep recruiting new hunters (young and old) to keep the machine greased up with dollar bills. If the day comes where we're not putting money into people's pockets then we should be worried. Until then I'll kick back in my stand each fall, enjoy the sunrise and shoot some deers.

I agree. Plus, it gives us time to worry about more important things. Like stopping gay dudes from getting married.

Can you imagine living your whole life for the world to see? Every screw up? It would be more than a little paragrah of screw up's if the author was writing about me. Hell, he would still be writing. Ted could be dressed in a three piece suit and speaking as eloquently as Barrakkk and the antis would still hate him. Keep getting in their face Ted, your either with us or aganist us.

My issue is a guy ranting about family values and how everyone who does not believe in his view is "evil". While I would as a father hide my daughter from this pig.

Ted needs to get off the moral high ground.

What's the over/under and what happens first - Vito coming out of the closet or Vito shooting a deer?

I'd just hate to be in any ones shoes that wants to look up to Ted, he is just our sports version of Terrel Owens, the Kim Kardasian of bow hunting and for all of that, the Jerry Springers in the world give each of them a stage to spew it from.
And that is the sad reality of it all.

Now why is it that whenever Vito and Germ start posting at the same time the thread ends up "going gay" regardless of the original subject? You guys have even gotten Justin in on it.

I agree with the article but just confused as to why the writer was talking about Ted's music?

Teddy can be "a little" over the top sometimes :) but I have no real beef with the guy. He could probably tone it down a tad though. And being under the microscope you'd think he'd be a bit more knowledgable of the hunting regs. I sure hope it's plain ignorance and not lack of respect for the law.

I don't think he's going to change any legislation or government policy. As Justin stated, the industry is simply too big.

I've never really been a fan of him. He's too loud and cynical for myself. Also, I never believed that someone who claims to be drug free could act that wigged out. I think it's unfortunate the trouble he's been in. In both cases it looks like he was just caught up in a law enforcement agency that wanted on the map. That's just my opinion obviously.

All that said, he is still a huge supporter and voice of the troops, and helps to input lots of money into uso.

The blog was very well written. I never took from it that the author was taking once side or another, more that he was just presenting both sides to an arguement. If people want to be done with BHC for a neutral arguement about a celebrity, then they weren't going to stick around anyways so we'll never know them to be gone.
