Yeah, I have the LED version. Also have a "tactical" one too that I got from Costco. Thinkin about getting a head lamp.

I have some of those 150/200 lumen 'tactical' LED lights from Costco. They're really cheap and hold up fine. Battery life isn't great... not unexpected because of the high lumens. I keep one in my pack but I generally use a much dimmer light when going walking in or out. Bright white LED lights suck for blood trailing so I keep a 3 D-cell maglite in the vehicle if I need to blood trail. (the more yellow incandescent maglite is much better for trailing... and if you should stumble upon a still alive deer... you can pummel it to death with a maglite)
    ;)

Currently, the light I use to walk in/out is a small cheapo LED that you can select to be green. I've noticed that the green LED makes acorns practically glow. Acorns are almost non-existant this year so I make a note when I see them.

Whnever I have shined a deer with a white light, they blasted out of there.. When I shine a green light on them, its like they ignore it, or dont see it.. I know I could not shine a white light on a deer while in the stand and have it stay there.. Each light has its own purpose I guess.. I track with the big spot lights from Wally world.. Have 2 of them.. Real wide beam and you dont get tunnel vision and a headache..
