I'm gonna have a look today when I'm in bass pro and just try to compare some prices and options. At least, I hope they'll have more in store than other stores around me right now.

Weight, for me at least, isn't such an issue. Mostly because I'm used to carrying the Summit Goliath, which is 21 pounds plus my pack which is another 5 or 8 probably. But also, this stand won't be my main squeeze. I'll probably leaving it just hang a lot. I'd just like one that can hang in a little rougher trees mostly.

I appreciate the comments! Lots of different opinions floating around.

Just for the comfort and being able to sit for long periods at a time and the fact that I can take it out when I leave just by taking it off the block , I suggest the Millennium M100 / M100U , yeah it cost a little more but well worth it . You leave only the hanging block in the tree and next hunt you just slide the stand back on it and hunt .

I also use an Ol'Man Roost , it's a lot heavier which makes hanging a little harder , but it is also comfy for long sits . I did just install a Tree Stand Buddy hanging system to mine which made hanging it a lot easier ..

Steps to get to it , I use the Ameristep Rapid Rails .. just like the fact that my feet are in an enclosed type step where I can't slip off the sides if my boots are wet ..
