Absolutely. This is what's next in our country as far as rights are concerned. I'm sure much of same things people are saying and doing now, on both sides, would mirror things that happened during the civil rights movements.

I'm glad for all of those who were out to fight for CFAs battle against the government. Its on to the next battle! Who's rallying to stop the injustice in Mississippi? C'mon, I'm sure you guys all know about this. Its about freedom! Damn state trying to tell people they can't kill fetuses. Must be liberals. Oh wait...

Killing a living person is a vastly different topic than the owner of a fast food franchise having a personal opinion on marriage and would seem to warrant a seperate topic.

First, no one is killing any people. Second, this is the same thing. This is the government trying to shut down an american business. Where is all the enthusiasm? Lets take it to the streets!

C'mon RC, where's the love? This is an american company that is sticking to its values. Big brother is trying to shut them down. We need to fight for american businesses that stick to their values, and are under attack by our own government! This is about freedom! You guys aren't backing down, are you? Bunch of commies, the whole lot.

    Apples and oranges my friend.

Our Freedom of Speech is guaranteed by the Constitution. The right to have an abortion is not.

+1 Actually its more like apples and fish. Why this even needs to be explained escapes me. My guess is he is again simply playing the jester role as per his sig line.

Oh thats right, this is about freedom of speech...as long as what they said you agree with. If we disagree, its about something else.

Now I'm really confused. I thought the most shameful part was government involvement. Now its free speech? But I thought the political officials should be condemned for voicing their opinion? What happen to free speech?

No, this is just typical grasping for straws and being on the defense. Freedom of speech being compared to abortions. Keep trying.

You're still missing it. It's not about the officials voicing their opinion. It's about them trying to shut down a business in their cities due to the fact that they don't share the same beliefs as the owners.

Oooooohhh. Now I see how this is completely different from a state trying to shut down an abortion clinic because they don't share the same beliefs. Thanks for clearing that up.

I know this is about freedom of speech, but thats a good move. Your best move is to just stop talking.

Some of you are more transparent that even I realized.

I am confused... Vito, are you for or against government involvement in the activities of a legally run business. I think I am seeing that you are against the governement interfering in the affairs of a legal private business? Is that right and is that what they are doing? R.C... If that is Vito's position, aren't you guys in agreement? What did I miss here?

Please... I sure hope no one is saying that Christians are hating anyone and I sure hope no Christians are doing so. That's not what we are to be about.

That is correct. My main issue with the majority of people involved in this situation, is the hiding behind the "free speech" argument. All it does is take away from those that are really fighting for free speech here.

I feel all people should be treated equal. RC hates atheist and Will Primos.

    We are not in agreement.

Based on his posts and his sig line, Logic demands he is a contrarian for the sake of being controversial. An entertainer of sorts for his own amusment. I think he agrees with me far more than he is willing to admit.

I dont mean to be rude here or upset anyone but for all those who dont believe that homosexuality is harmful for a society, some suggested reading is in order to deal with your ignorance (and please, i dont mean to offend anyone in using the word 'ignorant'), a good start would be 'Strained Relations' by Bill Muelenberg.

Aside of that, and from a Christian point of view, good on CFA for standing up for the Gospel, great will be their reward for such, lets pray for those politicians who are persecuting them to have a damascus road experience.
