I would venture a guess that 75% of the people flocking to CFAs today have no idea of the government involvement in this issue.

And they dont have to. This is about CFL having the right to hold fast to its values. Thats why they are eating there. They support CFA for daring to have values and not backing down and folding like a cheap card table just because of counter culture pressure. I've never eaten their food so I cant say if people are eating there because of the food but the spike today is likely less about the food and more about supporting a business with values that dont run. When they buy a sandwich, they are saying, Im standing with CFA and against bullies.

 

I guess i will say something. First off, I agree with Justin. Where does a publicly elected official get off tell a buisness what its core beliefs can be. Think of this, they want to boycott a buisness that stands for sound biblical morals. yet they gladly give permits to strip clubs, and other questionable buisness's that exploit and abuse people. Talk about stupidity at its finest!

 

I guess CFA laid out the model to increase sales for any struggling chain.

Correct. Have good, upstanding values, never back down from your principles, place more values in principles than profit and tell liberals to stick in their arse. If more companies did that, what a wonderful world this would be.

Yeah! And we wouldn't have ruined the country by allowing women to vote, or equal rights. Thats where this country went wrong...when we stopped discriminating.

 

Then you fail to understand what the head of CFA said. You instead hope to make up something and attribute to him and his company when we all know what he said.

 

I know what he said. I also know Christians. They don't like dem gay folk.

 

Companies dont do that. Policy is set by governments. Did you get your education in the deep south? sometimes I just kill me.

This is a crazy story that I cant believe wont go away. I agree with alot of others that the government officials have better things to worry about than what a CEO of a company thinks about gay marriage. I hope the same amount of people who waited in line to eat chicken do the same thing when it is time to vote. There are only a few things I would wait in line for if I had to, buying a hunting license, taking my kids to a ball game, and voting to name a few, but I sure as hell wouldnt wait in line for some damn chicken even if it was FREE because a CEO of a company said he is against gay marriage.

 

Being a Christian I think you paint with an ignorant and broad brush that does not bear out the truth. While there might be some that hold those views, its not a universal of self evident truth across the board such as

The sun sets in the West.
