    Freedom of speech doesn't work that way. Private business can chose to employ anyone they want, or fire anyone they want, based on what they say. Which means you can't just haul off and call your boss an a-hole and expect to keep your job.

    Freedom of speech just means you have the right to say that and not fear that the government is going to punish you. With some exceptions of course - death threats, etc.
