Almost... I need 36 more hours and about 36,000 more dollars. Zach just called and said he got his learner's permit, today is his birthday, so I am holding a little back for the expected unexpected repairs. Plus he just changed swim teams to the Auburn aquatics team an hour a way. College is coming up for him too... Maybe I should open a restaurant, go on record for saying something controversial and wait for the money to roll in. Then I could close down the restaurant before the people I commented negatively about show up two days later.

Please. You treat everyone equally bad then. If if doesn't go along with your opinion of learned "life lessons" you lash back like a school yard bully (ofcourse all the while hiding behind the internet.) What values can you have if you believe in nothing? You simply obey the laws of the land with no conscience. Answer to no one and give the finger to anyone that doesn't agree with you. Nobody lashed out against gays, simply joined hands in respect for a leader that holds true to his values while persecuting no one. Others did it to support free speach. Gays are doing it today, join them in support if your agree with their values.

Same thing religion does ... in that, we are in agreement ... but there is a truth ...I believe it to be The Bible .... if the Book is true, then God , who is perfect and Holy, has every right to say how you should live ... Jesus coming down in human form as an example ... He is your Creator as well as mine

Is the christian stance to not allow gay marriage? If so, it must affect your life somehow. I mean you wouldn't just want someone to not do something simply because you feel its wrong, would you?

 

That goes right back to the where does it end argument. Nambla is foaming at the mouth over gay marriage. And gay marriage does effect everyone. If it shall become the law of the land our children will be force fed that it is an acceptable lifestyle, contrary to there patents belief. Then the real intolerance of the left will rear its ugly head. They already believe that if you do not endorse the homosexual lifestyle that makes one unsuited to work in public education.

 

The core issue with ALL sin is a lack of the Savior ... period ... I condemn no one ... the Book I have put my eternity on does that ... gays are not the issue ..... "ye must be born again" ~ Jesus Christ ..... that will take care of everything ..... I preach the Gospel praying people will STOP putting their faith in their own righteousness and put their faith in Christ's righteousness .... He came to pay for sin ... I stand before the True God clothed in Christ's righteousness .... not my own ... I have nothing ... but He has and is Everything ...

I have seen many lives converted .... because I preach the Truth and tell them to ask God for HIS truth ... not their truth...not mine...but God's ....He wants you to know, Matt ....consider asking him ... He will show you...

Just like when people thought all races should be treated equal. Despite their parents' teachings, they were told it was acceptable to treat others the same. Kids of all races were forced to share classrooms together. Where will it end?!

 

I think you confuse this matter by applying the term “Marriage” to same sex couples. Marriage of people is the union of a man and a woman. The union of two guys is a situation searching for a name. The word “marriage” has a meaning and is already claimed. I don’t think anybody has a beef with them creating or inventing a term that describes their union. Its like somebody creating an activity where they throw a dart at a balloon and they want to call it “fishing”. Sorry but that name already has a meaning and is not available. Its like an able bodied guy hunting with a crossbow and wanting to be called a bowhunter. Sorry but that term already has a specific meaning so you will have to use the term “almost bowhunting”.

 

I don't really see an answer in there, so let me ask a simple "yes" or "no" question. Would you vote against gay marriage in your state?

 

Sure, I believe they call it "gay marriage". You could call your game "balloon fishing".

 

A race and a lifestyle choice are not equal, especially to alot of those who took part in the civil rights movement.

 

I have witnessed people go from severe homophobe to tolerant/supportive when they find out a family member is gay. Amazing how that can happend. Remember that as a parent, you are only as happy as your least happy child.
