The same was just on our local news. No mention of freedom of Speech. They stated that the local CFA ran out of chicken because of the large numbers of people who came out to support CFA's anti-gay beliefs.

They are not anti-gay. Just don't support a non traditional marriage.

The more you post the more convinced I am you are gay. As to your "we are all a little gay" comment, the answer is no. I dont play for your team. Im straight. Im into females but I dont hold it against you that you like poking guys in the butt or pole smoking. its a lifestyle choice and if thats your thing, rock on.

I was raised in the church also. When I grew up and looked back at my childhood and teenage years, I realized who some of the worst bigots and hypocrites are.

And I'm not pro slavery, I just support traditional confederate values. Also known as modern day conservative values.

I thought I cleaned that up pretty good. I just want to be on record that I have no problems with germ's homosexuality. He is free to do as he pleases and I wont hold any ill will against him. I'm just not interested in his advances or that lifestyle. Im very tolerant and straight.

Perhaps in the deep south to some tiny degree but not in the north so broad brush painting exposes another epic failure on your part.

The company I work for had CFA catered in yesterday. We have over 1000 people at our facility, not sure if they did it company wide, but that would be more like 3000. Our company is a family owned, family run, christian based organization. Do I believe they did this because the hate gays? NO, I believe they chose to spend some of their profits supporting an organization that follows the same norns in which our company does.

I'll preface this by saying, I'm not a religious person. I also wouldn't say I'm an atheist. I kinda believe religion was created to control the masses, but that doesn't mean I don't believe there is some divine power. I feel like I have a strong moral compass and choose to do right because it is good and right thing to do, not because I believe I'll be punished or rewarded in death. I know too many church goers that are total hypocrites, but I also know plenty people that do not have a good moral compass that are not religious. With all that said, this all comes down to the norms of society, which are basically based of the christian faith. So the norms, up to this point have said marriage is between a man and a woman, killing someone is bad, adultery is bad, stealing is bad, and so on. The question becomes if we decide to change marriage from its intended meaning, are we then able to change other norms such as saying murder is fine, it's ok to steal? These are the norms of our society as we speak.

I have gay friends, I have gay family members. It doesn't bother me in the least, because it is their choice. If they want have a civil union in the eyes of the government, I am completely fine with that. That would give them all the rights and benefits the government offers to people who are married. However, in my eyes, Marriage is a religious union between a man in a woman per the bible, which is what has set the norms of society. In that sense, you can't ask for a religious union, if the very union goes against the rules that govern that religion.

Wow, I tried to post some facts that occured while my wife was there, then they were twisted. Now I gave up reading the rest of the post because it is the same rhetoric over and over. Guys pissing and moaning that it is this way or that way...or wait, you are wrong .

They cheered for the guys because they had the balls to stand up for their beliefs regardless of what anyone thought. Did you guys not read the part where my wife talked to them and the guy said he loves the sandwiches regardless and knows his boss to be a bigot...Both sides standing on each side of the fence pissing on each others leg telling them it's raining.

People cheered, news left, wife talked to them....but all I hear is the same BS as before.

Oh and as far as the bad business decision, I heard that chick fil a doubled there most profitable day ever yesterday. I think there are alot more non gays as opposed to gays where this decision is concerned. Now if it were race, or sexism they may feel some pain, but just not a big enough gay pop to do any harm IMO...

Also, what a shocker that the right hand man who also supports Truit Cathys way is against gay marriage. You don't think a man who starts a company and closes it on Sundays would hire a gay dude to run it do you...birds of a feather my friends...samed as in all cirlces of life.
