    String swaps are super easy on these bows i usually just do mine like im stringing a recurve with my legs. Gotta be careful with it tho. After switching to a better string on my Black Eagle i wont ever shoot a tear drop again. The flemish twist strings perform much better and cut the noise of these bows down by alot!

    Muzzy, I've had a few things go beyond the strings, but all reasonably easy to DIY once you know where to get parts. I'd love to know where you're getting strings for $6 though :) If you pick one up, pm me and I'll get you pointed to some folks.

    FWIW-You can usually find an older Oneida in the 100-200 range.

    $6.00 strings were 25 years ago LOL. Thanks for the tip though... for finding a good used Oneida. Let me know if you run across another one that is in good shape. We don't see many of them in these parts.
