IMG_3789.JPG Hey guys looking for some input/opinions. I took this buck this year and would like to do a wall pedestal mount with him. I'd love to see some of the mounts you guys have had done to try and get some more ideas. What do you like about your mount if you have one and what would you do differently, if anything. Thanks in advance for the help!

Not the best pics. But here is a couple of mine. I like the 1st one because it has a lot of neck creases and a sharp turn. It is a Matt Thompson form. I like the 2nd because it shows a lot more of the body. I believe it is a 8900 series.

    Congrats on the deer!

I really like my wall pedestal mount. Put him in the pose he was in right when I shot.

Thanks for the pics guys! Fitz I was really hoping you would post, I remember seeing your mount a while back and that it looked really cool but couldn't find that thread. Thanks for posting it again.

Really nice buck P&Y Chaser. I think what guys are posting are wall mounts not pedestal mounts. As I know it pedestal mounts are on some sort of platform like a table top or something.

These are for the wall. But they are two types. Floor pedestal and then wall pedestals. The wall pedestals can even be made to go on a floor/table top.

Pedestal mounts can be hung on the wall as well. They are just labeled as a "pedestal mount" because they are designed primarily for table top pedestals but they are actually for either.

I wish I could tell you, I just knew I wanted a wall pedestal and he had one finished on the wall and I said that's the one I want.

Ok thanks anyways. It looks like a revolution form. If it is I have been wanting to mount on one of them for a while.

I really like pedestal mounts for something different. I like being able to mount them to a stand also.

Congrats on a beautiful buck. He will make for a great mount.
