I shot a doe yesterday afternoon... got tired of passing everything and decided to go ahead and take the biggest of the group. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get any pics because we wanted to get her dressed and cleaned out before dark.
Here ya go ... thought it was a doe ... had a hole thru the right front "knee which was infected ... deer was acting normal, sans a limp, but when I got to him, he was very skinny ..would been a good sized deer.... he is going to the mission to feed the homeless
this is the first year in 7 years i havnt killed one with my gun O_O and i think the first year in 5 years i havnt gotten 2
2 day bonus weekend the 18th and 19, i work both days but i am gonna try to get out. plenty of bow season left to burn up all 3 tags i have left ><
It's late. I have a new rifle and my scope for the ML will be here this week. First 2-3 I see pointed in the right direction, and I'll add something to this post. If this wind would lay down, it'll be sooner, rather than later. 14deg. in the AM w/ 15mph winds. Next.....
Congrats! Those are two big nice bucks!!! But are they Oklahoma deer, because rifle season here didn't open until the 20th? Lol

Oops!! Wrong date, killed on the Saturday the 20th not the 18th. I was looking at a December calendar when I posted the date. Good catch brutha!! Wouldn't want anybody getting the wrong idea...
Just for you PT, oooh look at that shiny revolver Took my last couple hours of vacation this afternoon, stood in the frigid blowing wind for 2 hours when 2 does worked thier way up thru the hollow just before dark. The big lead one walked right up to me and at 25-30 yds I let her have it. After the shot the other one didnt know what to do and came within about 12-15 FEET of me. But I didnt feel like dealing with 2 deer.
