Anyone else go out looking for arrowheads? All our farms around here have had quite a late start working the fields due to all the rain this spring.
Here's a couple points and a blunt I found this weekend.

Here's a few from last year - same area.

Anyone else have any luck this spring so far?
Let's see what you got. It's always interesting to see the different type points from different areas.

I HAD one very nice collections from alot of looking for many years. sadly, I lost them ALL in a house fire back in 05  It sucked the wind out of my sails and I have not looked since then. Guess the Indians wanted them back. Those are some nice ones you have there. Its ashame the drill was broken!

I found these while making my food plots this spring. I guess I've found over 130 pieces and roughed out points in my fields so far. I found 1 nice finished point, but mostly like the ones in the picture. Rough blanks to finish later. Someone told me the Indians probably hunted for the flint there and roughed in the shape so they weren't as heavy to carry back to camp.

    My best one.

Nice finds guys, thanks for sharing.
Crick - that's a shame about losing your collection the the fire. I'd be bummed too.

I hope to get back out this week looking for more.
    Take care

When I was a kid my brother and I spent hours looking for heads, in our area we had a good amount of clovis heads and several points. I took my 7 year old daughter turkey "hunting" this spring and we ended up spending some time sifting through some rocky areas looking for points. I had forgotten how much fun that can be and it started me wondering what ever happened to the heads we had found as kids.
