I shared mine with Rob earlier tonight, and I'm curious to know what everyone else is shooting.

    My recipe for this year:

    Gold Tip CAA 350 - 29.5"
    Gold Tip Pin Nock
Gold Tip 20 grain modular weight on the inserts
    12 grain white wrap
    Blazers - 2x white/1x flo orange
    100 grain Rage 2x blade

    Total weight - 458 grains

    What are you shooting?

I used to get into fletching arrows and had a blast making them until time became a short commodity. This year for the first season ever I am going stock.

27.5" Easton AXIS NANO 340 with two yellow and one green Blazer.
Shooting either 100gr or 125 gr NAP Crossfire Broadheads.
403gr or 428gr setup. The 100 gr. are flying a tad better for some reason and I'm still getting around 87#KE on the setup.

Matt, I think I am gonna steal your exact arrow. I was wanting to be around 420 to 430...so it will work out perfect without the extra weight added. I have just about the same specs as you. I was hung up on try some of the new trophy ridge arrows for some reason....I dont know what I was thinking..I have always had real good luck with Gold tip and now I have a great recipe thanks to you. I am real anxious to see how they rip out of the 101.

I'm shooting Gold Tip ProHunter 55/75's this fall. I think they're somewhere around 28" long, white/red bowhunting.com wraps, 2" NAP Quikspin Speed Hunter vanes, white GT nocks, and 100 grain HellRazors. Total weight is around 380 grains I believe. Hopefully they'll kill a few things this fall.

Dude, those Rayzr feathers are badass. I'm too cheap and lazy to order them, and nobody carries them around here.

This year, due primarily to my cheapness and laziness, I didn't get my order in for any more speed pro 5.5's. So, the next best thing - I just ordered a set of Easton Lightspeed 400's through an offer that was too good to pass up.

Also, since I waited so bloody long to get the ball rolling here, time has become a factor, and I don't think I'm gonna have time to get them crested properly. So, no crestings for the first time in 15 years, and I have to lower myself to white wraps.

I'm using low-pro 2 or 3" parabolic vanes and Muzzy MX3 100's. Everything should come in right around 350 grains @ 70/29. My speeds will take a hit, but probably not by too much. I'm not thrilled about shooting these Easton arrows...but the price was right. Who knows - maybe I'll like them.
