Vito can you put that picture of Chicken Little up again?

First, great comparison! Second, if that did happen it wouldn't be the first time a law was passed that I didn't believe in, I felt impacted my freedoms, and I voted against.

So one size whines while one side wins. At either rate, a large percentage of the population is dissatisfied with the outcome and around and around we go! That's what happens when our moral compass is determined not by what is right but what is popular. Same argument goes for both sides, regardless of the source of your compass. Is there not a common source of morality somewhere? I say there is.

Hooker has it right (egads..), laws by majority are nothing to get excited about and the government should get the heck out of 'marriage'. That should be a religious thing and the government should only be concerned with civil unions.

    So... Boo to NC!

Is it suspicious for two guys to get married in a hoodie?

    Christine is correct

So do we all agree marriage is defined as a religious thing?

It is not currently defined as a religious thing.

All this is, is a BS "Rights" movement....I mean they "Gays" have more rights now then any straight person or couple does....cases in point

    1) as a normal straight couple compared to a Gay couple try to adopt a child and see who gets their respected child 1st....(thats right the Gay union couple)

    2) they get equal rights now when it comes to insurance and benefits and the like as do Marriage couples.

    3) as a person who does not respect their lifestyle please for the love of God don't speak anything against them or else you could easily be sued......even people of the clothe can't speak out against their lifestyle from the Pulpit any longer for Fear !!!!!!!

My question to all of you then who can't believe this ruling happened, For a National that doesn't view Marriage any longer as just nothing more then something on a piece of paper why all the Uproar then? my opinion it again goes back to "RIGHTS"....

Just out of curiosity I've been reading on gay rights and learned that over the past 15 years or so the public when polled has increased their support for same sex marriages from roughly 25% in the 90's to almost 50% now with some polls giving them the majority. I guess those people don't vote.

For those that oppose traditional marriage. At what point do you say enough is enough? Are there any deviant acts you will not tolerate? Just curious. I draw my line at, if you were not born with the equipment to reproduce, you probably should not be doing it.

I'm confused here, so are you saying if a woman is unable to have a child she should be unable to get married?

I guess we should all live by what some consider deviant or evil?

What people do in their own home is none of my business.

If Kate Upton and Kim Kardasian start going at it in front of any of us, who is going to look away?

We have what I call situational morals in this country. It depends on the situation how we morally act.
We all talk a good game, but talk is cheap:)

Some people consider killing animals a deviant act.

Can anyone tell me how this has anything to do with or has any affect on hunting at all.
Besides the fact that I just got my brother into hunting for the first time and signed him up on here and this is what he is going to have to read about his own choice of life style and sexuality. For me this is the Saddest day in my history with this site. I really think there are much more important issues for everyone to deal with and think about than same sex marriage.:(

Yeah I have seen that but usually they have some morals.
    Not just ignorance.
I just really can't believe that any member of this site would give people who hate us for hunting just another excuse. People don't like us cause we hunt and we fight for that right and in some ways it does affect them directly. But I still don't see how gay marriage has an affect on any of us.
