It's a Drag Buddy and I love it! It gives you better leverage than the typical cord style drags. Makes dragging does easy and gives you enough leverage to keep most of a cape off the ground. www.dragbuddy.com
I took an antelope in Wyoming with my son as the guide and video man. They actually put it on Bowhunt or Die: I took a small 8 pt in Kansas after hunting hard for nine days. I shot him in the last 30 minutes of the hunt. I got a doe in Oklahoma on 1/10/13 as well.
Picked up a bow for the first time a year ago, practice practice practice and deer hunting 101 crash course........December second at 4:13pm this spike buck came walking in. I was ground blinded in on the edge of a cut soy field, had Leroy(my decoy) 30yds in front of me quartered to. It played out like a slow motion script and I double lunged him at 27yds.........Oh hell yeah I'm hooked now Going for spring turkey with the bow next but my real passion, whitetail. Is it September yet ??????? Great job to everyone else who put meat in the freezer in 2012
Great season. Wish I could have got out into the stand more often but was able to get my first deer with a bow. 6 point in Big Rapids, Michigan. Wish I would have thought to take some better trophy pictures in the woods. He wasn't quite big enough for me to pay for a shoulder mount but my cousin made me this mount for Christmas which I thought was pretty cool.
first one was for fresh meat / second, a little ground shrinkage but not bad. third one is one i was after, along with two does, so i ended up with five deer with the bow
2012 was great! Three does and a 145" hitlist buck. My first buck ever in 2011 was bigger (153") but this guy was grunted in using a primos hardwood grunter and it was the most exciting rutting buck encounter I've had. There was grunting, sparring, chasing does, 28 degree temperatures over looking a wheat field. It was a picture perfect November morning. I got to share the experience with my best friend who was down from NH hunting with me. It's what Kansas bowhunting is all about. And the baldies...
Ive been hunting for 4 years on public land in NJ and all i ever killed were does but after doing alot of extra work and putting many hrs into the 2012 season i finally got it done. not with one buck but with 2 View attachment 26849 View attachment 26850 View attachment 26851 View attachment 26852 View attachment 26853
For me in France, the season is not finished. But i already killed 2 roe deers, a big buck and a young one. Here is the big boy : And a lot of nutrias like this one a few days ago : To be continued...
3 1/2 year old, 136" ten point hit lister. We had five or six different target bucks. I was fortunate enough Nov 1 to take one. I sat about three hours that morning and had only seen a small four pointer. I deceided to take out my flextone buck collector and call alittle. Lone behold after a few grunts this guy came straight in from behind me. He was already at twenty yards before i realized it. Chip shot ! Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2
I killed this one on the ground. I prefer approach them. Far more interesting in my opinion than a tree-stand. But it is a very territorial animal...that costs him a lot most of the time, especially during the reproduction period. I don't use any "call" stuff even if it is authorized. Too easy. In France we have "tags" that we pay for and if you can only afford 2 or 3, you want them to last a bit. That's why my preference goes to difficult ways of hunting. Gratifying and lasting methods For the hogs it's different. The only way you can have any occasion is 20 feet high in a tree. On the ground, he will defend himself if wounded and you'll have very few occasions. A bientôt !
