Molson, Blue, kokanie are are excellent beers in Canada, the versions of those beers here in the states SUCK.
there is definitely a difference in Molson from Canada than here. Totally different flavor profile. I think what's "Molson" up there is (or used to be known as) Molson Export Ale here. Or maybe I have that backwards? Haven't seen MEA in years though. Labatts I never noticed a difference.
No I said the american versions of the canadian beers suck, not the Canadian beers. Hell canadian Bud light is 5% up there.
I know, but it was a good opportunity to pay homage to the day when movies could be made that offended people and everyone knew how to take a joke.
Back in the late 70's , Molson Golden Ale was all we drank, sometime before Coors bought them out , something changed, dropped ABV levels. Was so into drinking it, named my dog "Molson Golden", it was on her AKC papers...
sheeiiiiiiiit, I drank a lot of Stroh's last month. I did make a pit stop and the local bin name liquor store and lo and behold they carry 805. I am now on #5.
Miller lite is my backup/river beer. People that drink bud light shouldn’t be allowed to vote. That stuff is nasty, I get a headache just holding one.
Light American pilsner beer is made for people that don't like beer. It should be drank at the kids table.
Pretty sure thats considered child abuse. Side note, in Germany they give kids Rattlers, a 50/50 mix of lemon flavored carbonated mineral water and a Lager or Pilsner. Try on on a hot summer day once, not bad at all.
known all over the Great Lakes as Leinie Summer Shandy (or as I say, Summer Sally) In college we used to make a concoction called Strip 'n Go Nakeds. Don't remember the exact ratio, but it was vodka, lemonade, and beer. I think it was like 20oz beer x 1 part lemonade x 2 shots? That's close. Toss in blender with some ice and get the ice rough chopped, the consistency was more liquid than slushy. Pretty much the same flavor as a rattler/shandy but hoooooboy about a 9.3 on the Richter scale in terms of ABV. Hence, the name. Some kid from Nebraska introduced that one to us. Nebraska drinking culture must have been on a whole other level. That dude had like 2-3 cocktail concoctions that nobody ever heard of plus like 2-3 drinking games nobody around here ever played that changed my life.
I’m good with any and every beer so long as it’s ice cold. Beer and Jalapeño peanuts! Try it, I triple dog dare you....
