Anything not an IPA. And I've tried them and tried them and tried them. I cannot acquire a taste, no offense intended.

When the IPa thing picked up I drank some. Not bad. Then I had some dental stuff done and the next time I drank an IPA it tasted like a Christmas tree. I couldnt even finish my glass. Still cant drink them.

I never like IPA much either. I did find one that I would recommend to anyone that doesn't like them. RaR Nanticoke nectar, one of my favorite Ipa.

Used to drink it when I couldn't find a decent IPA... Then they felt they had to get into political and social issues...

Are they all the same pricepoint?

I'm going to have to say Hobgoblin. Had it probably about 20 years ago. Local bar that prided themselves on beer selections had special ordered some at a customers request. He wanted a 6 pack and they ordered a 12. Me and a friend(who was owners son) both had one, I ended up drinking 6, got cut off when another bartender noticed I got one from the customers order  , best beer I've had by far to this day. At the time I think it was more in the fall harvest selections, been forever since I've tried to get it again. Going to research a bit now that this thread has brought it back to the forefront.

I hated beer until out of high school. Tried it a few times but never liked it.

First true drunk(s) was vodka and everclear mixed with Kool-Aid. Few times of that I started drinking Little Kings and Mickey Big Mouth's(still like the cap puzzles) at a party and those malts actually got me to accept a beer or two.

    The rest is history

Not sure what's in Mickeys big mouths, but if one of us were drinking them in hs or college more than likely a drunken brawl was imminent. Ha
