You should also realize miller light has won a few awards for best tasting beer:)

I live about 8 miles from the brewery and have been there a couple times. You can't go wrong with anything Three Floyds.

I enjoyed some Alpha Kings over Christmas and they were delecious! :)

My favorite non-seasonal ones are Robert the Bruce and Dreadnaught.

This thread is perfect timing for another long holiday weekend. I'm ready for 5 o'clock now!

I used to think Miller Lite was beer. Now, I enjoy real beer and Miller Lite tastes like dish water to me. Never thought I would be a beer snob, but I really do enjoy good beers now. There are so many micro's out there that are great. One of our locals ages a stout in whiskey barrels and I love it.

Have you ever attended Dark Lords Day?

Aging beer in whiskey/wine barrels is the new trend. I'm not complaining. It really adds a lot of depth to the beer.

You will be getting some Founder's Oatmeal Stout. The bourbon barrels go to a syrup maker, and then after he is done, they go to Founder's. Its delicious.

No, but its on the short list.

I took a brewing class at Purdue Calumet and we got to go on field trip to the brewery. It was the best field trip I've ever been on. A day of sampling all their beers and listening to them talk about what goes into each beer. The only bad was, Dark Lords was off limits.

Light beer is for girls. I did drink it in high school and college though.

I'm on surly bender and big sky ipa kick right now, I'm sure it'll be something else next week. Anything hoppy is good with me.

The amount of bad beer I consumed last night should have put me 6 feet under.

I'm ready for a night of good beer to off set it now haha

For some reason I feel like a bottle of Delirium Tremens for NYE. Anyone else like Belgian ales?
