Winter Abbey is a nice treat this time of the year. I really enjoy Big Sky Summer Honey or Great Northern Wild Huckleberry in the summer months. For year round favorites I prefer a really dark Brown Ale to compliment my food or a strong IPA, the "hoppier" the better

Beer was brewed far earlier than the American Beer Industry. Rumor has it that the Brewers of Sissy Water in Germany were banished and sent to the U.S and Mexico where they watered down Beer until the tyranny was lifted.

The list of what I won't drink is far shorter.

Just got a reply back from my high school buddy and good friend Jason who runs the following site and is opening up Misfit Craft Brewery. http://www.thegreatestbeerofalltime.com/

He told me to save your wife's services for a beer worth a decent lay. Apparently he would rather bang a goat than drink Dark Lord, he said it sucks.

He said to go with an Oak Aged Yeti from Great Divide or Ted Fidy from Oskar Blues. Both will taste better and help you maintain a stronger and longer lasting marriage.

He is in the very small minority then, since Dark Lord sells out within a day every year.

I could not even respond to that. It literally hurt me to read that.

So did Twinkies Hooker. Sometimes all it takes is a couple of good biased reviews and a limited supply and every idiot in America wants some. That crap has gone for 500 a bottle on ebay.

    yikes

I think I'll probably wait for a trade with someone. I might be able to find someone willing to trade one for a rare Jester King brew.

Your wife is worth less than 80 bucks to you, I see a cheesy new Robert Redford movie coming our way......

I been on a Porter Kick last few weeks. A couple good ones I tried lately..Everette Porter, thinks is Bells Hills or Bells Brewery in an case it from VT and excellent...same place Birth of a travesty...also excellent .
Stone Brewing also..forget the name of her but she was coffee base porter and excellent.

Hooker said Russian River ...Pliny the Younger is as good as it comes..

18" of snow here and tonight it's Imperial Stout...I am on my third ...The Abyss ...another and I will be there happily .

Amber ale or pale ales. Still can't palate stout dark beers.

Abita Amber and Thomas Creek Appalachian are my favorite easy to find beers..

    Yeungling for quantity.
